ACCREDITED CLIENT PROGRAM APPLICATION
An ACP (Accredited Client Programme) was introduced in 2005 concurrently with introduction of Risk Management System (RMS). The objective of the program is to provide assured facilitation to importers who show good track record and compliance and also to create a climate of voluntary compliance which can be created by creating a relationship of trust between the department and its client. This program will provide recognition and incentive of facilitation to clients who maintain high level of compliance.
Documents required for making the application
1. Self Attested copy of PAN number.
2. Importer-Exporter Code
3. Details of the items manufactured or traded
4. Bank Account Details with Account No & Name of the Bank, Address and date since operated.
5. Name and address of firm and partners
6. Name of the Department(s) handling Customs matters
7. List of Outsourced activities relating to Customs and respective firms/persons
8. List of Custom House Agents employed at each port, with date (s) of appointment of the CHA.
9. Customs Special Valuation Branch [SVB] Registration Number, if any, with details including that of last review by the Custom House
10. Details of the imports and the duty paid
11. CA Certificate to be submitted by ACP Applicants.
